Welcome to the 2019 LAMC Event Portal

We are excited for another great season! Club Motto: “Golfing Arbor Takes Lots of Balls”

If you have any questions or concerns please email lakearbormensclub@gmail.com

If at all possible do not call the pro shop for LAMC information, everything you need can be accessed on the web or will be emailed. If you don’t have an email I suggest getting one or rely on a friend that has one.

All tournament information for the year can be found at www.lagc-lamc2019season2.golfgenius.com. All you need to access the page is the GGID: VDCMME, you do not need to create  an account. Have a smartphone? Download the Golf Genius app for iPhone, iPad and Android for live scoring and leaderboards!

The system will email you once a tournament has been created. If you’re not getting emails send the correct address to lakearbormensclub@gmail.com

The website will allow you to access the following:

    • Tee times – Will be posted online and at the club
    • Pairings – Will be posted online and at the club
    • Results – Will be online only
    • Rules – Tournament and LAMC online
    • Members – Email addresses

You can expect to see the upcoming tournament pairings and tee times no later than Thursday prior to the tournament.

New this Year: Sign up for Tournaments thru email (still need to pay on time or we will remove you).

We will now be accepting electronic payments for all competitions and memberships.  You can also pay for as many tournaments in advance as you wish (you can even pay for the whole season tournaments in advance if you wish).  Also, to make life easier, if you cannot make a tournament for whatever reason, as long as you let Dave or myself know before your scheduled tee time for the event you cannot make, we will refund your money with no penalty.  So there really is no need or excuse for not having your entry in by the previous Sunday (you don’t even have to get to the club house).

And obviously you can still pay using the dropbox in the clubhouse as before.

Electronic payments can be made through Zelle using either email or phone at lakearbormensclub@gmail.com or 303-960-1733.  If you are not familiar with Zelle, it is available with pretty much every banking institution and is a means of transferring money securely from person to person using your mobile bank app and email or phone.  Here is a link to help if you are not familiar - https://www.zellepay.com  Just include with your payment, a note saying what you are paying for.

Another addition to this year’s Men’s Club will be Pari Mutuel betting for every tournament which will give you an opportunity to win millions of dollars (depending on amount of money wagered) even if you are not playing well yourself!    More details to come as first tournament approaches.

As you may be aware, there have been several rule changes to the game that will affect us at Lake Arbor.   Here is a link that shows a summary of the new rules. http://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/rules-hub/rules-modernization/major-changes/major-changes.html

Lake Arbor will NOT be incorporating the “new local rule” that is at the bottom of the rules on the above link regarding an alternative to stroke and distance for a ball that is lost outside a penalty area or out of bounds.

Sign up and pay for tournaments no later than 5pm on Sunday prior to the tournament (if you contact us after the deadline you might not like the answer you get so plan ahead).

LAMC will post all scores for individual stroke play events to GHIN using equitable stroke control.

Equitable Stroke Control – Are we clear on what this is? If not look it up, based on your handicap you can only post certain scores. (Example: A 4 handicapper can't post anything higher than a double bogey).

“Those who complain the most, normally contribute the least”

Remember: The Men’s Club Board is here to run a fair and fun organization. Be mindful of how you communicate your questions and concerns and we will be more than willing to do what we can to resolve them.
